Job Description
- Operational Finance:
- Oversee daily financial operations to ensure efficient financial processes and controls.
- Internal Controls:
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure adherence to established financial policies and procedures.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Lead the preparation of management reports and presentations for senior leadership.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and tax requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure proper documentation.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads.
- Provide financial forecasts and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualification preferred, such as an MBA.
- Professional Experience:
- 12 to 15 years of total experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Previous experience in a large-scale distribution or similar industry is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and internal control frameworks.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage and motivate a large team.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to support strategic initiatives.
