Trans Business for Trading & Distribution (TBTD) was founded in 2014 under the umbrella of Al Rashideen Group headquartered in the UAE. Al Rashideen Group was founded in 1982 in the UAE, with its headquarters in Dubai. The Group has diversified activities in the areas of Tobacco Manufacturing and Distribution, Marketing and Distribution of Consumer Goods, Automotive Distribution and Real Estate Development with a large geographical presence in the countries of North Africa, Levant, and the Gulf. The Group owes its success to its highly qualified people, employing over 10,000 people in various fields.
TBTD is the sole distributor for all Philip Morris International (PMI) products in Egypt. With 21 locations across Egypt, and more than 600 employees, TBTD is managing the Sales and Distribution operations of all PMI Products nationwide. TBTD, through its affiliated company, Trans Egypt for Imports and Exports (TEIE) also provides importation services for PMI Raw Materials and Finished Products. Over the years, TBTD has come to be recognized as one of the leading players in its segment in the Egyptian Market.
